Hybrid Sessions are a great way to maximize your therapy session. Founder, Rachel Carter, explains the benefits of combining your therapies in one session.
A Message about Hybrid Sessions from Rachel
Simply put, hybrid sessions are the best of both worlds, combining massage and craniosacral techniques to soothe your muscles and heal your soul. Sometimes there is no substitute for a well-placed elbow. In my world, there is no such thing as too deep, only too fast. In a hybrid session, pressure meets you where you are in your tension while respecting your body’s subtle rhythms.
Myofascial ironing and unwinding combine with delicate listening, neuromuscular and lymphatic strokes and the profound stillness of craniosacral work. These sessions generally feature less dialogue for a deeply relaxing somatic experience.
Definitions
Craniosacral: the anatomical and physiological relationship between the skull (cranium) and the sacrum (the triangular bone at the base of the spine).
Myofascial: the relationship between muscles (myo) and fascia (connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles).
Neuromuscular: pertains to both nerves and muscles.
Lymphatic: the system that is part of the immune system. It keeps body fluid levels in balance and defends the body against infections.
